Shubhra Dubey is a creative director and producer. She graduated from USC with a BA in Film and Television Production and is currently based in Los Angeles, California. She works as a creative producing coordinator at BIITE Club: an international community of chefs, restaurant owners, and creatives who host food experiences and tell food stories.
Her senior thesis documentary, A Good Death, premiered at DOCNYC and was longlisted for the BAFTA Student Awards. Shortly after, she finished another documentary about the last family-owned ramen restaurant in Little Tokyo, and is now directing a commercial about her local auto body repairer's forgotten dream of climbing El Capitan.
Shubhra is also a part-time teaching artist at the Boyle Heights Arts Conservatory, teaching film and photography at Juvenile Detention Camps and Halls. In her free time, you can find her sitting in the middle of row F at the Vidiots Community Theater, or on a bench outside Villas Tacos in Highland Park eating three tacos de pollo with a pepino agua fresca on the side.
